Man dies after wedding brawl in Philly
Police arrest one man for simple assault
It's a videotape that has stunned the city of Philadelphia and a nation: a brawl breaks out between two different wedding parties.
Police say a man has been charged in connection with the melee at the Sheraton Society Hill hotel and they say more arrests are expected.
Officials say a 57-year-old man suffered a fatal heart attack outside the reception but they don't know if he was involved in the fracas.
Authorities say they don't know what triggered the melee but they did say that alcohol was involved.
One wedding planner in our area says it's important to have a family member keep an eye on people who are drinking too much.
And she says families must iron out problems before the wedding.
"We find out in advance to find out if there are any family issues going on. We try to handle it accordingly," said wedding planner Heather Pasko.
Pasko says she knows of one case in which a wedding planner was pepper-sprayed during a wedding.
