Man posing as Western Union employee bilks gas station out of $1,890
Police are searching for a man who bilked a Milford Township gas station out of $1,890 while posing as a Western Union employee.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, when an unknown man called the Quaker Point Drive BP gas station, which serves as a Western Union branch.
The suspect told the gas station manager that he was a Western Union employee in order to obtain information needed to access the gas station's account, state police said.
One he had access, he made two fraudulent transactions totaling $1,890.
The investigation is continuing.
