Montgomery County residents looking to dispose of electronic equipment and household hazardous waste will have several opportunities this year.

The county commissioners have set six recycling dates for the collection of electronic equipment and six more for household hazardous waste.

"Once again this year, we are happy to be sponsoring a dozen recycling events throughout the county for our residents," said Josh Shapiro, chairman of the Montgomery County Commissioners. "We urge all of our residents to take advantage of this popular program."

Household hazardous waste will not be collected at electronic events, and electronics will not be collected at household hazardous waste sites, officials said.

All events will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
