CROYDON, Pa. -

Authorities say a person was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Bucks County.

Officials said it happened near the train station in Croydon around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Amtrak officials said the person was hit by an Acela train heading south toward Philadelphia.

The train was traveling about 120 mph at the time.

The incident caused some delays in service.

The name of the person isn't available.

WPVI-TV reports authorities continue to investigate.
