PHILADELPHIA -

A Philadelphia police officer caught on tape punching a woman in the face during a Puerto Rican Day celebration is off the streets.

Wednesday night Commissioner Charles Ramsey announced the suspension of Lt. Jonathan Josey for the next 30 days.

Ramsey says the suspension will likely be followed by Josey's dismissal from the force.

Josey was seen on tape punching 39-year-old Aida Guzman after someone else threw a liquid in his direction.

Guzman was charged with disorderly conduct, but those charges have been dropped.
