Ryan Petrille ejected from car, pronounced dead at accident scene

SALFORD TWP., Pa. -

A Montgomery County man was killed when the car he was riding in hit a utility pole early Tuesday, police said.

Sean Christopher Sperl was driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car around a curve and hit the pole, police said.

The accident happened around 12:10 a.m. on Route 563/Ridge Road, at Sugar Hill Road, in Salford Twp., Montgomery Co.

A passenger in Sperl's car, Ryan Alexander Petrille, 21, of Lansdale, was ejected from the car. He died at the scene, the coroner said.

Sperl, 21, of Lansdale, was being treated for injuries.
