State police look for robbers who held up Sunoco station in Chester County

SOUTH COVENTRY TWP., Pa. -

State police are looking for the man who robbed a gas station late Wednesday night in Chester County.

The robbery happened around 11:30 p.m. at the Sunoco gas station at 2200 Pottstown Pike in South Coventry Twp.

The first robber is described as a black man wearing a black sweatshirt, dark jeans and a black bandana covering his face. He's approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 140-150 pounds, and carried a black handgun.

The second robber is a white man, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and light colored jeans. He is approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, and has a dark blond beard and mustache.

The two got away with an undetermined amount of money.

Police said they fled on foot on Route 23, heading east.

No one was injured.
