UPPER FREDERICK TWP., Pa. -

State Police in Skippack are investigating after a double shooting in Upper Frederick Township, Montgomery County that happened Saturday evening.

Zachary Levin, 19, of Barto, died at the scene. His father Joshua Levin, 34, also of Barto, had multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital. Hospital officials said he is currently in satisfactory condition.

The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. in the 1700 block of Snyder Road Saturday.

Police said they were called to the home for a domestic dispute.

They said a man and a woman who lived at the home were arguing. The woman called Joshua Levin to pick her up. When the Levins arrived, police said they got into an altercation with the male living at the home.

Police said when officers arrived at the scene, they found Zachary dead in the driveway. They said Joshua Levin was lying on the ground suffering from several gunshot wounds.

When police arrived, they said they encountered a man who is the suspected shooter.  He peacefully surrendered to police at the scene. He has since been released by police.

Police have not released his name, or what may have happened to cause the shooting.

Zachary was a senior at Boyertown High School.

The investigation is ongoing.
