Winds fan flames of fire in East Vincent; dogs rescued from burning home

EAST VINCENT TWP., Pa. -

Strong winds fanned the flames of a fire in Chester County on Thursday.

The fire broke out just after 11 a.m. at a home in the 1600 block of Ellis Woods Road in East Vincent Township.

Flames pierced the roof of the home as firefighters struggled to get the upper hand. 

No injuries were reported. We're told firefighters and neighbors helped rescue as many as six dogs from the burning house.

Investigators have not yet determined how the fire started.
