Suspect charged with stealing from four homes

SKIPPACK, Pa. -

Twenty-year-old Benjamin Troy Lopez of Trappe has been charged with committing burglaries at numerous locations throughout Montgomery County.

The suspect was arrested Wednesday by Pennsylvania State Police at Skippack.

Trooper Barry Bertolet of the Skippack Criminal Investigation Unit determined Lopez broke into four homes, stealing a total of $6,249 worth of property.  Bertolet's investigation into the burglaries began in March.

Lopez was charged with four counts of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property.

He was araigned before Magisterial District Judge Albert Augustine in Schwenksville.  Unsecured bail was set at $5,000.
