Body found in remote Chester Co. area
Officials say the man was homeless; no evidence of foul play
Officials say the body of a 55-year-old man was found in a remote wooded area near the Schuylkill River in Chester County.
It was discovered Wednesday afternoon by the Route 113 bridge in Phoenixville.
Officials said it appeared the man was homeless and living in a well-maintained campsite.
Police say there was no evidence of foul play.
The Chester County coroner is investigating the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
Investigators were able to identify the man, but the information is being withheld until family can be notified.
