Construction worker injured on job near Pottstown

NEW HANOVER TWP., Pa. -

A construction worker was rushed to a hospital Monday after suffering what officials described as "significant injuries" near Pottstown.

The man became trapped beneath an overturned skid loader at a construction site in the 2500 block of Saratoga Road in New Hanover Twp., Montgomery Co., said emergency dispatchers with the Montgomery County Communications Center.

The mishap occurred around noon. The victim was freed by rescue crews and rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital near Allentown for treatment of injuries to his legs, officials said.
