A second suspect has been arrested in the killing of a man in Pottstown, Montgomery Co., last month.
Daquan Hamilton was apprehended inside a home on North 21st Street in Philadelphia on Wednesday, said Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman.
Hamilton, 20, is one of two men charged with first degree murder in the deadly shooting of George Hashimbey inside the King Street Commons Apartments in Pottstown on Dec. 27.
Hamilton was committed to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility without bail. He's due in court for a preliminary hearing on Jan. 16.
The other suspect, Khaleef Jones, was arrested and charged a few days after the homicide.
Both men, police said, were armed with handguns when they forced their way into the apartment and proceeded to shoot two of the three men inside.
Hashimbey, 22, died at the scene; the second victim suffered a non-life-threatening wound, authorities said.
