Employees sent home following possible bomb threat at K Mart
Police and firefighters are investigating a possible bomb threat at a Richland Township store.
Police were called to the K Mart on West End Boulevard (Route 309) and Route 663 around 7:00pm Tuesday for a report of a bomb threat, police said.
Around 8:00pm a 69 News crew on scene witnessed managers sending K Mart store employees home.
Police tell 69 News they have deemed the threat not credible but K Mart management wanted to close early as a safety precaution.
Crews are still in the building at this time, our crew reports.
