Officials from the Environmental Protection Agency spent part of Wednesday cleaning up a fuel spill in Bucks County.
More than 200 gallons leaked from an above ground tank around 2 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 500 block of Almshouse Road in Doylestown.
Officials said the fuel had been delivered on Monday.
The fire department was able to control the spill within an hour and used buoys to stop it from reaching the Neshaminy Creek, which is a source of drinking water downstream, officials said.
They said fuel did not enter the creek and the DEP officials conducted final cleanup with absorbent materials Wednesday.
