Homeless man stabbed in Doylestown dies
Additional charges to be filed against suspect, Dale Wakefield
A homeless man stabbed more than 70 times last week has died, officials say.
George Mohr died of his injuries this weekend, according to the Bucks County district attorney's office.
Mohr was attacked outside the Doylestown train station Wednesday morning.
A tip from his sister put police on the trail of 21-year-old suspect Dale Wakefield.
Wakefield told his sister that he stabbed someone "and may have killed him," and that he planned to flee to South Dakota, according to court papers.
Wakefield got only as far as Maryland, where he was arrested.
He was facing attempted murder and other charges, but prosecutors said additional charges will be filed once Wakefield is in their custody.
