POTTSTOWN, Pa. -

Prosecutors have withdrawn all charges against a middle school teacher who was accused of sexually assaulting a young girl.

The charges against Jared Leimeister, who taught science at Pottstown Middle School in Montgomery County, were dropped at a preliminary hearing Thursday morning.

"Our client is ready to try to get back to his regular routine and lifestyle and continue to teach at Pottstown Middle School," said Adam Sager, Leimeister's attorney.

Once the Pottstown School District receives written notice of the charges being dropped, it will address Leimeister's job status, said John Armato, the district's director of community relations.
