Man killed in head-on crash
NORTH COVENTRY TWP., Pa. -

One man was killed and a woman was flown to the hospital after a violent head-on collision Sunday morning in Chester County.

The crash happened at 10:15 a.m. on Route 100 between Hoffecker Road and the South Coventry Twp. line in North Coventry Township.

Police at the scene said a car driven by 57-year-old Pamela Fischer of Lancaster, crossed over the center line and hit a Chrysler Pacifica driven by 50-year-old Dean Secord of Honeybrook.

Crews raced to get the victims out.  Fishcer was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co.

Secord was taken to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

His twin seven-year-old boys were in the backseat, and suffered minor injuries.

Police say the boys were in their booster seats.

Route 100 in that area was closed for moire than four hours during the investigation.
