SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -

The sensation of this year's Little League World Series looks to extend its run.

Philadelphia's Taney Dragons will take on Las Vegas on Wednesday evening with Mo'Ne Davis expected to take the mound.

With her long braids dangling over her shoulders on every pitch, the Philadelphia star is a captivating presence and has been in a league of her own on the baseball diamond. She's the first female to win a game, let alone a two-hit shutout, in series history.

Former Negro League star, 78-year-old Mamie "Peanut" Johnson, said the 13-year-old Davis is "the best thing since food."

And yet, in spite of her 70 mph fastball, baseball isn't Davis' best game. Her basketball coach said she is even better on the hardwood.

Meantime, Davis' baseball team has also proven so popular that concession stands in Williamsport have sold out of the powder blue T-shirts of the Mid-Atlantic team.

Official Taney T-shirts and hats have also been hot sellers at select stores in Philadelphia and on the team's website.
