Police have identified the three men accused of robbing a bank near Pottstown and leading officers on a chase through Montgomery County.

James Byrd, Ishaq Ibrahim, Kelani Laird have been charged with robbery, theft, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and terroristic threats.

Ibrahim and Laird, armed with guns, stormed the National Penn Bank on East High Street in Lower Pottsgrove Township shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday and ordered all the employees and customers to the floor, police said.

Ibrahim then jumped over the counter and removed more than $11,000 from the tellers' drawers, according to court documents.

Both men then fled the bank in a car being driven by Byrd, leading officers on a chase before being apprehended near Villanova University, where officers also recovered the stolen money, according to court documents.

All three men were committed to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $1 million bail each.
