POTTSTOWN, Pa. -

Police say a medical issue may have sparked a five car pileup in Montgomery County late Sunday morning.

The accident happened at the intersection of Route 100 and King Street around 11a.m. Sunday in Pottstown.

Officials speculate that one driver's medical condition caused a chain reaction of crashes.

Two EMS units were called to the scene, and took five different people to the hospital.

No injuries are believed to be fatal or life threatening, and investigations are still underway.
