Police in Pottstown put the clamps down on aggressive drivers this weekend.

69 News was there as police were pulling over drivers during a crackdown on Route 100 Saturday.

Police targeted speeders, seatbelt violators and drivers who follow too closely.

Officials say Route 100 has accounted for 50 percent of injury-related accidents in the borough over the past 12 years.

Sgt. Barry Grimm said, "It's also conducive to aggressive driving being that's it's a four-lane highway that is divided and has a downhill slope.

The detail was funded by a grant from the state.
