A new report says the future's not looking so bright for Montgomery County's Limerick Generating Station.

The study comes from the Vermont Law School’s Institute for Energy and the Environment.

It lists the Limerick nuclear reactor as one of 38 in 23 states that exhibits a number of risk factors for early closure.

Those risk factors include competition from lower-cost energy sources, falling demand and rising operating costs.

The study used data from three different Wall Street reports.
