Timothy Buckner arrested in burglary, suspected in others, police say
Jewelry valued at as much as $3,000 stolen from home, pawned, police say
A man suspected in at least five burglaries in the Pottstown area has been arrested, police said.
Timothy Buckner has been charged in one of the break-ins, which occurred in the first block of South Prince Street in Pottstown on March 25, according to court documents.
Buckner, police said, took jewelry, valued at as much as $3,000, from the home and later pawned it.
Police said they identified Buckner as the suspect in the case through surveillance video.
Buckner, 27, of Pottstown, was charged with burglary, theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass and receiving stolen property. He was committed to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail.
Police told 69 News they suspect Buckner is responsible for at least four other burglaries, in the Pottstown area but so far, additional charges have not been filed.
