Tractor trailer off road in snow

A tractor trailer went off the road Monday night on Rt. 309 and Zion Hill Road in Quakertown after crashing into a snow bank.

The driver said he went off road because he hit a snow bank that was sticking out into the road.

State police in Dublin said the accident dumped a lot of snow back on the road, so PennDOT was out to clean it up again.

State police said 309 southbound will be closed for a while between Cherry Rd. and Reservoir Rd.

Navigating the roads is expected to be even more difficult Tuesday morning as yet another snowstorm heads our way.
