M. Night picks Vancouver over Bucks
The next project from M. Night Shyamalan won't be filmed in our backyard.
The Greater Philadelphia Film Office says the director has chosen to shoot his new limited TV series "Wayward Pines" in Vancouver.
Doylestown and Sellersville were in the running along with Kennett Square in Chester County.
The office says cost was a factor -- Vancouver is a less expensive city to shoot in.
You'll recall Shyamalan has filmed a few of his movies in Berks and Bucks Counties.
