Montgomery County student dies from bacterial meningitis
We're received word that a Montgomery County student has died from bacterial meningitis.
The Boyertown Area School District says the child was a student at New Hanover Upper Frederick Elementary School.
A letter has been sent home to parents about the situation.
The letter says the strain is not contagious and there is no risk to other students.
District officials say their thoughts are with the family of the child.
