Northampton man identified as driver in fatal Bucks County crash
Fatal Bucks County crash
Police have identified the victims in Saturday's fatal crash on route 212 in Springfield Township, Bucks County.
Police say Vernon Fegley Jr.,43, of Northampton, died in the crash. Passengers Abigail Ferry, 28, of Richland Township, Aaron Lafferty, 28, of Quakertown, and Rachel Lokay, 28, of Fountain Hill, were injured.
The accidenthappened around 3:20 am Saturday in the 1000 block of Route 212.
Police said a vehicle driven Fegley traveled out of the southbound lane, into the northbound lane, onto the berm of the road, then struck a telephone pole. Police said the vehicle then continued into the grass berm and struck two pine trees.
The Fegley was pronounced dead at the scene, and three other passsengers were taken to the hospital with extensive injuries, according to police.
There's no word on their condition.
Pennsylvania State Police in Dublin continue to investgate the crash.
