It's back to school for some Bucks County state troopers.

Palisades High School held the grand opening of a new workspace for state police Tuesday.

The spot will give officers a place to complete paperwork when they're nearby.

The nearest state police station is about a half-hour away from the high school.

"It's an opportunity for them to come in out of the cold and complete paperwork that they have to do and also be a presence," said Palisades School District Superintendent Bridget O'Connell

School officials say students and parents are excited about the venture.

The office will just be used for filling out forms troopers will not conduct any other crime-fighting duties at the high school.
