Philly building collapse suspect held on nearly $1.6M bail
A judge has set bail at $1.6-million for a man charged in connection with a deadly building collapse in Philadelphia.
Sean Benschop was in court Wednesday.
Investigators say he was high on marijuana and painkillers while demolishing a building earlier this month.
The building collapsed killing six people and injuring more than a dozen others.
Benschop had been held without bail on involuntary manslaughter charges after turning himself in.
But prosecutors successfully argued that he's a flight risk.
Benschop is non-U.S. citizen who was born in Guyana and has several aliases.
