Police, FBI seek help identifying Wells Fargo Bank robber
Police and the FBI are putting out a plea for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a bank in Philadelphia.
The holdup happened around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 600 block of West Erie Avenue.
The robber handed a teller a note demanding cash and then fled with the stolen money, officials said.
The robber was described as a black or dark-complected Hispanic man between 30- and 40-years-old and standing about 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket and dark-colored knit ski cap.
Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department.
