QUAKERTOWN, Pa. -

Bucks County officials are calling it the last part of the "park puzzle."

Quakertown council members broke ground Friday on a new park located at the site of the former Krupp Foundry.

The town says it acquired the property at Fourth and Mill streets back in the early 2000s.

And it hasn't been an easy process to get the spot park-ready.

"After an agonizing clean-up, we're standing on a great piece of property," said Jim Roberts.

Officials say the finished product will span twelve acres and include an amphitheater.
