Quakertown oman steals ring off another's finger, police say

She was a thief in the night, literally, police say. And it didn't hurt that the victim didn't wake up.

Police said a woman was sleeping at the home of Cori Marie Eckhart on Clover Mill Road in Milford Twp., Bucks Co. early Saturday morning when Eckhart allegedly stole a ring off her finger.

Eckhart, of Quakertown, took the ring to a pawn shop and sold it for cash, police said.

This happened between 2 a.m. and 8 am.

Eckhart turned herself in on Wednesday to state police at Dublin.

She faces charges of robbery, theft and receiving stolen property.
