WEST ROCKHILL TWP., Pa. -

Pennridge Regional Police say a 26-year-old man was arrested on burglary charges for stealing scrap from a warehouse.

Joseph M. Lutz, of Nobel Street in Souderton, was caught inside a fenced area around 11:45 p.m. Friday at the Farm and Home Building at 3115 State Road in West Rockhill Twp., Bucks Co., police said.

Lutz told property management he was removing 'scrap' for the site. The witness told police the license plate number and Souderton Police stopped Lutz shortly after, driving that vehicle.

The owner of the Universal Fabric Structures warehouse, located on the Farm and Home property, told police that someone took items worth $8,000-$9,000 from the warehouse.

Police arrested Lutz and charged him with burglary, criminal trespass and related charges.

He was taken to the Bucks county Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. Police said he was on state parole for previous charges.
