Two people are recovering Friday morning after a fire at a Montgomery County housing complex.

The fire broke out around midnight in the 1000 block of Valley Court in Pennsburg.

Officials said a neighbor saw smoke coming from one of the homes and called 9-1-1.

A young boy and firefighter were both hurt, but are expected to recover.

Officials said the fire started in a second floor closet, but it's not clear how.

Several of the adjoining homes suffered smoke and water damage.

There is no word if any of the residents were affected.
