HATFIELD, Pa. -

A driver escaped serious injury when his car crashed into a Dunkin' Donuts store in Hatfield early Sunday.

Montgomery County officials told 69 News that the car was traveling on Bethlehem Pike when for some reason it left the roadway and crashed into the building.

The driver was not hospitalized, and police said no one was in the store at the time of the accident.

Hatfield police are investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, the store's owners said they were able to reopen the store Sunday afternoon.

The owner said he just moved to the Hatfield location in February of this year because he wanted to be able to provide a drive-through service.
