DOYLESTOWN, Pa. -

Dale Wakefield may plead guilty to two different stabbing crimes in Bucks County court later this week.

The 21-year-old defendant is scheduled to appear before Judge Rea Boylan at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Wakefield  is accused of stabbing and killing a 71-year-old homeless veteran last July.

He also is accused of assaulting another inmate at the Bucks County Prison by stabbing him in the face and arms with a ball-point pen.

Wakefield was behind bars without bail on a first-degree murder charge.
Prosecutors said Wakefield stabbed George Mohr more than 70 times with a pocket knife outside the Doylestown train station.
