ST. JOHN, U.S. Virgin Islands -

A court in the U.S. Virgin Islands has denied appeals for two men accused of playing a role in the murder of a Bucks County native.

Police say 21-year-old Jamie Cockayne, of New Hope, was stabbed to death outside a bar in St. John back in 2007.

Kamal Thomas and Anselmo Boston were convicted of assault and other charges in the case, but in 2012 they filed appeals alleging jury misconduct.

Now the Virgin Islands Supreme Court has denied their requests.

According to local media reports, a third man -- Jahlil Ward -- pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in Cockayne's death.
