Vivian Painton of Perkasie charged in jewelry theft
Forty-three-year-old Vivian Painton of Perkasie has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property by Pennridge Regional Police Department.
Police charge Painton with stealing several pieces of jewelry on July 19, while she was staying at a residence in the 400 block of Campus Drive in East Rockhill Township. The homeowners noticed the missing jewelry when they returned.
Police recovered the jewelry when they went to Painton's home in the 600 block of East Ridge Avenue in Perkasie.
Charges against Painton were filed Tuesday in the office of Magisterial District Judge Charles W. Baum in Perkasie.
