Officials: Man shot to death in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A shooting in Bethlehem has left one man dead.

Police say it happened around 10:30 Saturday night at 944 8th Avenue. Officials say the victim is 21-year-old Ian Juma of Bethlehem.

Crews on the scene say Juma was shot at least once in the back but police have not confirmed that.

Officials say this is being ruled a homicide and would not comment any further on the matter.

An autopsy performed Monday morning showed that Juma died of a gunshot wound to the body. The Lehigh County coroner's office ruled the manner of death a homicide.

The coroner's office and the Bethlehem police department are conducting the investigation with the help of Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin.
