2014: The Ultimate Warrior, one of professional wrestling's biggest superstars, dies at age 54 in in Scottsdale, Arizona. An autopsy later revealed he died when suffering a myocardial infarction caused by atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Born James Hellwig, he legally changed his name to just Warrior in 1993 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame just days before his death. He began his career as the Warrior in 1987 and defeated Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI to become WWE Champion in 1990.
