Pa. suspends license for doctor accused in brutal attack

HARRISBURG, Pa. - A Lehigh County doctor accused of brutally attacking his son-in-law won't be practicing medicine anytime soon.

The Pennsylvania Department of State has suspended Georges Bensimhon's medical license.

Bensimhon, of South Whitehall Township, drove to a suburb of Cleveland last month and attacked his son-in-law with a crow bar, police said.

Investigators also said they found spinal needles in his backpack.

Bensihmon has been charged with attempted homicide, and he's currently under house arrest.
