Parkland put up an impressive all-around performance Saturday night, beating Freedom 65-50 at Easton Middle School to claim the District 11 4A boys championship.

Four Trojans scored in double figures in the game, leading Parkland to its first District championship since 2009.

Nick Rindock had 18 points, Jimmy Hahn added 12, Austin Beidelman had 11, Justin Zajko tallied 10, and Nick Selvaggi added nine points and 12 rebounds.

Nyreef Jackson had a game-high 20 points in a losing effort for the Patriots.

Both Parkland and Freedom qualified for the PIAA 4A state tournament, as did the Liberty Hurricanes.

Liberty earned a 66-53 win over Stroudsburg this afternoon at Easton in the 4A state play-in game.

DeShawn Oyeniyi had a career-high 23 points for the Hurricanes, who have reached the state tournament for the seventh time in the last eight years.
