Pedestrian struck in Lancaster County hit-and-run

EPHRATA, Pa. - A pedestrian was sent to the hospital with severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Lancaster County early Saturday morning, according to Ephrata police.

Police were called to to the 400 block of East Main Street at 2:25 a.m.

Addy Grimm of Ephrata was struck while attempting to cross East Main Street. 

The striking vehicle did not stop and fled the scene. From evidence gathered at the scene, police believe that the striking vehicle was traveling westbound on East Main Street at the time.

Police said that the vehicle may be a lighter gray to silver-colored General Motors product, possibly a truck or SUV. The vehicle may be missing its passenger's side mirror and could also have front and/or passenger's side damage as well as possible damage to the hood area, police said.
