Pen Argyl falls to Imhotep Charter

Imhotep Charter ended Pen Argyl's season on Saturday with a 54-7 win in the PIAA 2A state quarterfinals.

The Green Knights' lone touchdown came on a spectacular, one-handed juggling catch by Scott Beltz off a deflection in the end zone.

Pen Argyl ends its season at 11-3 and with a second straight District 11 2A title and trip to the state quarterfinal round.

Undefeated Imhotep Charter will face undefeated Wyomissing on Saturday at 1pm in Philadelphia for the right to go to the 2A state championship game.
