Help available for those struggling to pay heating bills

People who need help paying their heating bills this winter are getting some relief.

Pennsylvania's Low-Income Energy Assistance Program is now offering crisis grants.

You can download an application by going to the website or you can get a paper application through county assistance offices.

The crisis grants are the second phase of the LIHEAP program.

They're meant to help with emergencies like broken heating equipment, lack of fuel, or a danger of being without fuel.
