Person flown to hospital after being ejected from car in Carbon County

LOWER TOWAMENSING TWP., Pa. - One person was flown to the hospital after a car slammed into a structure at a cemetery in Lower Towamensing, Carbon County.

The crash happened around 10:15 p.m. Friday at the entrance of Saint Richard's Roman Catholic cemetery on Stony Mountain Road.

Crews at the scene said a car lost control and barreled into the structure before rolling over several times.

One person was ejected and was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Two other people who where inside the car were taken to the hospital.

There's no word on their condition.

Crews at the scene said heavy fog hampered the rescue efforts.
