A Long Pond man kept a loaded gun under his pillow, along with 13 other stolen guns in a Monroe County home, police said.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police responded to a report by a woman who said she was threatened with a gun around 7 a.m. Sunday at a home in Tunkhannock Twp.

The woman met police away from the residence and told them that 37-year-old Anthony T. Brown was sleeping with a loaded gun under his pillow, and threatened to kill her and any police officers that came to the house.

Police surrounded the house and took Brown into custody without incident.

Police said Brown had broken into a house a short distance away, and stole guns and ammunition. Police found 14 guns in the house, including a loaded handgun under Brown's pillow.

Brown was charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, person not to possess firearms, terroristic threats and possession of a controlled substance.
