Twenty-two-year-old Sean Dohn of Kunkletown has been arrested for stealing $5,300 worth of jewelry form the Mount Pocono Walmart store.
Dohn was taken into custody by state police at Fern Ridge Saturday. He was arraigned on charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property. Bail was set at $10,000.
The arrest stemmed from a July 6 theft at the Walmart, where the jewelry was taken from a display case. That theft was investigated by Pocono Mountain Regional Police, who determined the same suspect was for responsible for a similar theft at the Lehighton Walmart.
Pocono Mountain police contacted Mahoning Township Police in Carbon County and arrest warrants for Dohn were issued by both departments.
