Reports of a methamphetamine lab forced the closure of several blocks in Lansford, Carbon Co., on Thursday.

A woman and her two young children were escorted out of a house in the 300 block of West Patterson Street, emergency management officials said.

Police have identified the woman as Misty Hyneman, who lived at the home with a friend. The children were sent to foster care.

Hyneman, 30, was charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or delivery drugs, depositing or storing chemical waste and conspiracy. She was committed to the Carbon County Prison on $25,000 bail.

A temporary decontamination shower was set up at the scene, a 69 News crew reported.

All three people were decontaminated by the Carbon County Special Response and Decontamination Team after Lansford police found an alleged methamphetamine lab in the home.
